Video of the day: New Order live in Berlin

New Order is a synthpop group formed in 1981 from the ashes of Joy Division after lead singer Ian Curtis hung himself. The band determined to carry on. They have since sold millions of albums worldwide, had top selling singles (Blue Monday being the top sellling 12" of all time) and won multiple awards. Recently, longtime bassist Peter Hook left the group to pursue his own tour playing Joy Division hits. New Order is currently touring, playing multiple dates across the US, including shows in Oakland, Los Angeles and 2 dates in New York. Here is footage of the 2nd half of their Berlin show, where they play a few Joy Division songs toward the end. Enjoy!
